JTS iLab — formally JTS Jobhouse Training Services UG (haftungsbeschränkt) — was founded in 2023 and is registered in Potsdam, Germany, operating out of the University of Potsdam's Potsdam Transfer startup programme. From the start, the company was built around a simple observation: most project management training stops at certificates, when what people actually need to succeed is practice.
That conviction shaped everything that followed. Rather than launching straight to market, JTS iLab ran a structured pilot programme first — training real participants, applying the methodology to a live project, and validating that the approach actually works before opening it up more widely. It did. One pilot participant has since passed the globally recognised PMP certification exam, and the graduate community formed during that pilot is still active today.
What started as a training pilot has grown into three connected arms: the Academy, which delivers hands-on project management training; The 7th Semester, a career community that keeps graduates connected and growing after their programme ends; and Advisory, which brings the same practical, hands-on philosophy to business consulting for individuals, startups, and small businesses.
