5. WhatsApp Contact and Community

If you contact us via WhatsApp or join our WhatsApp community (e.g. The 7th Semester group), your phone number and the messages you send are processed for communication, community management and programme coordination.

Processing is based on:

• Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in operating a community and coordinating members).

Please note that WhatsApp is provided by an external provider. Its own privacy policy applies in addition to this one. Depending on your settings, WhatsApp may access your contacts or transmit data to servers outside the EU.

If you no longer wish to be contacted via WhatsApp, you can leave the group at any time or send us a short message requesting removal.

6. No Use of Analytics or Tracking Tools

We currently do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel (Facebook Pixel), or other web analytics or marketing tracking tools on this website. We also do not use non-essential cookies for tracking or profiling.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in managing and improving our programmes).

Data will be stored for the duration of the relationship and beyond only insofar as legal retention periods (e.g. tax law) require it.

• the transfer is necessary for the performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR),

Possible recipients may include hosting providers, email service providers or communication platforms (e.g. WhatsApp, Zoom) that we use to deliver our services. Where required, data processing agreements in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR are concluded with such service providers.
